Israeli Airstrikes
Today, Israeli airstrikes struck Gaza, killing 10 people including a senior militant commander and wounding another 55. These strikes came in the wake of Israel’s arrest of an influential Islamic Jihad leader in the occupied West Bank earlier this week.
According to an Israeli military statement, the strikes also targeted a training center belonging to Hamas’ armed wing.
One of the airstrikes destroyed a three-story house in a refugee camp outside Gaza City, killing eight children and two women from an extended family. Others were buried beneath its rubble.
